A study I've been working on the past 2 days. About 2.5 hrs in total.

Back on the blog + Game Jam 2014

Man, its been a while since I last posted work. 

I swear I'm still sketching and doing studies, but I realized I was only working on mostly studies. While important, it lacked a lot of creativity and original content. So that's when I changed things up (and things got chaotic again for a while). That decision had me end up working in multiple directions; python scripting, 3D modelling and character rigging. All of which is going to start being added to the blog as they develop. 

So I'm back now and going to start posting again more frequently!

And with that....

Game Jam

I was lucky enough to have time this year to join in on Game Jam again and had a blast. Got a chance to discuss some coding concepts with the programmers, design some parts, model and try to keep the look of it more or less uniform. Always find it cool to be able to join in on multiple areas of development.

This was also my first time actually working in Unity and it was very nice, I think I'm going to try out some ideas in unity now. 

In an effort to post more of my work, especially WIP stuff, here was the concept art I sketched out the first evening.

Ever since my first time participating I began a mini tradition where I would try to paint up a poster within any spare time ( give or take a day or two afterwards as well). Fun challenge.
